Mortal Kombat 11 uses Denuvo anti-tamper and, for online play, its own anti-cheat system. While unlockers may work in offline mode, launching the game while connected to Steam or the Epic Games Store can trigger a detection. The result is often a permanent online ban from Warner Bros. Games, rendering the user unable to play any form of online match, access Towers of Time, or participate in Kombat League.
