This paper introduces "Webcam Fieldot," a theoretical framework designed to optimize the transmission and storage of video data in large-scale, distributed webcam networks. By conceptualizing video streams not as discrete sequences of frames, but as continuous "fields" of visual data distributed across a network topology (the "dot"), we propose a shift from frame-based synchronization to event-based field propagation. This approach addresses the limitations of bandwidth latency and storage redundancy inherent in traditional webcam architectures. We present the mathematical formulation of the Fieldot, its implementation architecture, and comparative benchmarks against standard RTSP and WebRTC streaming protocols. webcam filedot
