The anime, constrained by a 30-minute runtime per episode, forces efficient storytelling. Jokes land faster. The absurdity of using a dating sim logic to fix a plumbing disaster works better as a visual cutaway gag than as a paragraph of descriptive text.
The story follows Minami Fuyou, a high school student who discovers that he can solve any problem with the help of erotic games (eroge). With the power of eroge, Minami finds himself in a world where all his problems are solved, but at a cost.
