When Linda finally relents and takes the stage, the animation switches to a rotoscope-lite style, mimicking music videos of the era. The song’s simplicity ("I’m Lindana, and I want to have fun / Get ready everybody, 'cause I'm on the run") belies its thematic weight: the radical act of letting go of adult anxiety for one night.

The only problem: The band broke up acrimoniously years ago. The three members—Danny, Bobbi, and Sherman—are now working mundane jobs (a used car salesman, a dentist, and a librarian, respectively).
