Before buying parts, try cleaning the throttle housing. Use a dedicated throttle body cleaner and a soft brush to remove carbon deposits around the edges of the valve. After cleaning, you may need a diagnostic tool like Diagbox to perform a "re-learn" or "adaptation" of the throttle position.

Peugeot engines are sensitive to electrical resistance. Corroded pins or damaged wiring harnesses near the throttle housing can cause intermittent signal loss.
