A user named “MicroCore” on GitHub released sscom5131_en_patch.zip that contains a modified sscom.exe resource file. The patch replaces all Chinese UI strings with English equivalents.
While PuTTY is great for SSH, it is often clunky for raw serial data manipulation. Tera Term is powerful but has a steeper learning curve for custom scripting.
