Purchasing a physical "Boothu" book from a roadside vendor in Vijayawada or Hyderabad carries significant social risk. The bright, suggestive cover art immediately invites judgment. A PDF file, downloaded on a personal smartphone or laptop, offers absolute privacy. The search phrase is often typed in incognito mode, reflecting the user's desire for discretion.

The wealthy Rao family had always been proud of their ancestral heirloom, a beautiful diamond necklace. However, their joy turned to sorrow when the necklace was passed down to the youngest daughter, Leela. She began to experience terrifying nightmares and an eerie presence in her room.

Boothu Kathalu, which translates to "ghost stories" or "horror stories," have been a part of Telugu folklore for centuries. These stories often revolve around supernatural themes, mythological creatures, and paranormal activities. They were traditionally shared orally, around bonfires or in rural settings, and served as a way to entertain, educate, and caution people. Over time, these stories have been compiled and written down, and with the rise of digital technology, they have been made available in various formats, including PDF.

AttackAttack & Damage

Undamaged Damaged Killed
  • Cards have two hit points.
  • Cards deal one damage.
  • Each card may only attack once per turn.
  • When a card is damaged, turn it sideways. Damaged cards may still attack and constants still apply.
  • If a card is damaged when face-down, it remains damaged when flipped.
  • When a card has taken two damage, it is killed and discarded (removed from game).
  • If killed face-down, card powers do not activate, and the card is not revealed. The discard pile will be a mix of face-up and face-down cards.
