You collect characters (via gacha or events), assign them to rooms (kitchen, library, training yard), and watch their stats grow. The “Mansion AI” is surprisingly reactive: characters will form friendships, develop rivalries, and even slack off if you don’t keep their mood high. The v1.4 tweaks to the mood system mean they don’t degrade quite as fast, which was a welcome change.
