In the world of adult comics, few series have gained as much popularity and notoriety as Velamma. With 111 episodes in Hindi, this comic series has become a staple of Indian adult entertainment. Created by Ravi Kumar, Velamma first debuted in 2005 and has since become a cult classic, pushing the boundaries of what is considered acceptable in Indian comics.
This study employs a critical discourse analysis (CDA) approach to examine Velamma's 111 episodes.
