In the late 1990s and early 2000s, the Marshall Tucker Band experienced a resurgence in popularity, thanks in part to a renewed interest in classic southern rock. The band released several new albums, including "Long Hard Journey" (2000) and "Lighthouse" (2005). In 2006, the band reunited with original lead vocalist Doug Evans, and released the live album "Live at the Tucker's Den" (2008).
