For the uninitiated, Roadside Romeo is a romantic comedy set in the streets of Mumbai. It follows Romeo (voiced in Hindi by Saif Ali Khan), a pampered dog who is abandoned by his owners. Forced to fend for himself on the tough streets, he falls in love with Laila (Kareena Kapoor), a beautiful street performer. However, their romance is threatened by the dreaded Don of the dog underworld, Charlie Anna (Sanjai Mishra), a bulldog with a penchant for singing and a dangerous gang of mongrels at his command.
