⚠️ AutoCAD 2024 does not support Windows 7, 8, or 32-bit systems.

2. Before You Install

Close all programs (especially Office, antivirus, and previous AutoCAD versions). Uninstall older AutoCAD versions if you want to avoid conflicts (optional but recommended). Disable antivirus temporarily – some installers may be blocked. Ensure you have administrator rights on your computer.

3. Download AutoCAD 2024 If you have a subscription or trial:

Go to Autodesk Account Sign in (or create an account). Go to Products & Services → AutoCAD 2024 . Select your OS version (Windows). Click Download (Browser Download or Autodesk Download Manager – the manager is more reliable for large files).

If you are a student/educator:

Go to Autodesk Education Community Sign up with your school email. Download the free 1-year license (renewable).

File size: ~4–5 GB.

4. Installation Steps Method A: Using the Autodesk Download Manager (recommended)

Run the downloaded Autodesk_AutoCAD_2024_English_Win_64bit_dlm.sfx.exe (self-extracting executable). Choose extraction location (temporary folder – will be deleted after install). The installer will launch automatically.
